Student Rules & Guidelines

Guidelines and regulations ensuring a safe, disciplined, and productive learning environment for all students.

Academic Year

The academic session begins in April and ends in March.

Working Days:

  • Saturday is a working day for students from Class I to XII
  • All Saturdays are holidays for Playgroup to UKG

School Timings

Summer Season

  • Nursery to UKG: 07:55 AM – 12:10 PM
  • Class I to XII: 07:55 AM – 02:10 PM

Winter Season

  • Nursery to UKG: 08:55 AM – 01:10 PM
  • Class I to XII: 08:55 AM – 03:10 PM

Attendance & Punctuality

  • Students must be punctual and report to school at least 10 minutes before assembly.
  • Latecomers will not be allowed to attend school.
  • Students are not permitted to leave the school premises without prior permission from the Principal. In such cases, parents or guardians must make arrangements to collect the child.
  • No student should remain absent without prior written leave application, except in unforeseen circumstances.
  • For long leave during tests or examinations, prior permission from the Principal is mandatory.
  • Students suffering from infectious diseases must not attend school and should submit a fitness certificate upon return.
  • Attendance is compulsory on official school functions such as Independence Day, Republic Day, and other important events.

Textbooks & Stationery

  • Textbooks and notebook sets can be obtained from the school-authorized vendor.
  • Students must bring books and notebooks as per the timetable or teacher's instructions.
  • Non-approved books, magazines, or materials are not permitted in school.
  • Students must bring one rough notebook daily.
  • A student diary will be provided by the school. An additional diary can be obtained on payment of ₹100.
  • Stationery will be checked on the first working day of the academic session.

Birthday Celebrations

Allowed Items

  • Students may bring biscuits, fruits, or stationery items for classmates. The total value should be nominal and limited.

Prohibited

  • Cakes, wrapped food items, and celebrations in civil dress are strictly prohibited.

Grooming

  • • Students must come neatly dressed, clean, and well-groomed
  • • Hair should be trim and tidy
  • • Girls must wear two ponytails or plaits

Tiffin & Food

  • Parents are requested to follow the monthly food menu, provided in the student diary (applicable to Balvatika & Primary wing).
  • Students should bring tiffin for both fruit break and lunch.
  • If a student forgets the tiffin and it is sent later, it must be collected by the student from the reception.

Library

  • The school has a well-equipped library-cum-resource centre for students and teachers.
  • Students are encouraged to develop good reading habits and follow library rules strictly.
